Correct procedure to change 96 Accord front window sash/run channel?
Dear Experts,
I have a 4 door 1996 Honda Accord.
There's been a lot of problems with the driver's window (left front).
And I've decided to change many parts.
I've gone to the junkyard, and obtained these parts:
Window
Rubber run channel/weatherstripping (the the window rolls up into)
Dorman regulator (new)
Front and rear metal sash/run channels (metal parts that the rubber channel is inserted into).
From this link,

the sash channels are labelled 4 and 5.
At the junkyard, the rear sash channel (near the passenger door) came out easily enough.
Undo the bolt at the bottom, and slide it out.
However, the front sash channel (under the side view mirror) was really
difficult to remove.
I removed the side view mirror.
But there was a bolt sticking into the door body.
No simple to undo it all.
I jimmied the horizonal door molding.
In this picture, labelled number 2.

And was able to get the front sash out by twising it.
However, at the junk yard, I think I damaged the door molding.
What is the correct procedure to remove the front sash/run channel?
Thanks a lot!

For something like this you really need to watch a youtube video and Eric The Car Guy has a video for how to change out the window run channels. Do a youtube search.

I'd seen that Youtube video by Eric.
However, Eric replaces the rubber run channel.
But not the metal sash channel (that the rubber fits into).
Does anyone know the correct procedure to change the front metal sash channel?
Thanks

Changed the rear sash channel, but not the front.
I've added what I did to this thread:
