Cooling system issues pls help 1991 accord
Hi I'm a newbie to the board... I have been having cooling system problems with my 91 accord. It started over heating recently and I noticed one by one all my hoses were busting so I replaced them all. I replaced the thermostat a few months ago. Now my radiator has a leak and I'm going to replace that. Im hoping it's not a blown head gasket but it doesn't have the symptoms of water in the oil, white smoke coming out of the exhaust although it seems like there's a lot of pressure building up in the cooling system causing these hoses to bust then again these hoses are as old as the car. Anyway is there any suggestions? Im trying to fix it myself as I'm in between jobs and have nothing but time on my hands. And if it is a head gasket is that difficult to do? I appreciate your guys time and help... Thanks in advance

run a cool engine with the rad cap off. if you keep seeing bubbles then it's a blown HG
I've tried Bar's Head Gasket sealer with good luck. if it's severe it will need a HG replacement and maybe a head refinishing

yes it is. you should check on a cool engine so hot coolant doesn't spray everywehre.
that product is available at walmart or parts stores

the blown hoses and radiator may only be a symptom of a blow HG. if combustion gasses are getting into the cooling system enough to cause blown hoses and leak a radiator then a HG job maybe necessary. I'd try the bar's leak first. it's like 30 bucks and worth a shot
