Default Checked MIL code and got 7. Also D4 flashes?? (99 accord)

This is my sisters car and I dont really know too much about 98+ accords. She got a check engine light so I jumped the 8 & 13 pin and the check engine light flashed 7 times, so its a TPS issue. She doesnt have any surging, stuttering or shifting issues so I think im going to just check it and reset it unless someone has any other sugestions?

The other thing I noticed is the D4 light flashes 5 times. What does that mean???

Are you sure it wasn't 70 instead of 7? 70 refers to a automatic transmission problem...

Im guessing this is a V6?

If so her transmission is likely going to die soon. What year does she have? The 00-01's have a extended warranty til 100k miles.

Its a 99 4 cylinder automatic. Crap, it didnt occur to me that it could be 70. Thats probably it since the D4 is falshing too. Any suggestion for this?? She said it doesnt have any shifting issues but I havent driven it myself lately.

Take it for a drive, and floor it... You'll soon find out if it has any shifting problems.

Seriously though, you should take it somewhere to have the trans code pulled to get a accurate description, or at least somewhat accurate. I don't have a trans trouble code list, nor have I seen one listed.

It's listed in the Helm book...

D4 flashing 5 times = P1705

AT; no shift except 2-3; L-U-Clutch not engaging

what happens if your D4 light is not even on? Its not a bulb issue because I put a different cluster in and the D4 green square light doesn't come on either.

What's the issue with the AutoTragic Transmission that causes this.
