So my scanner finally came,

I got a P0108 - Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

also under ScanTool.net's Sensor Data, I noticed "Fuel System 1 Status: open loop" went to "Fuel System 1 Status: open loop (system fault)".

What do I do now?

Test/replace your MAP sensor. PM sent

An "o(sf)" report or open loop (system fault) means that your ECU has been defaulted to run in open loop mode due to a faulty sensor in the fuel system. More than likely being caused by the MAP error code.

5v between VCC and ground wires
3.56v between MAP sensor line and ground wires (engine off, car on)

Are those OK values?

So I narrowed it down to the MAP sensor or the the ECM (I'm pretty good eh? ). Considering that the voltage was coming ok to the MAP sensor's reference and signal I decided to take the plunge and buy a new MAP sensor. The car has yet to throw a CEL yet, so here's hoping the problem is fixed

Thanks GhostAccord and everyone for their help

If you don't have any local shops that will do it for free ask all of your friends, your parents friends if anyone may know someone with an OBD2 code reader for imports. You may be able to find one that you can borrow/have someone come over and read the code(s) for you.
My car is having similar issues 02 honda civic took it to get engine light cheked and the machine read error
