I have a 2000 Honda Accord, v-tec, 4cyl. Automatic
Today while I was attempting to reverse out of a parking spot
I noticed my battery light, oil light was on and also it said all 4 doors
Were open,...which they were not.
As I was trying to reverse my brake pedal felt like it was all the way down
And it was very stiff, well when I tried to step on the gas the reverse it was
Barely moving.. so I turned the car off... turned it back on put it back into
Reverse it still didn't want to go..but this time all the lights on my dash
Were off.. I then tried to put it in drive and pull back into the parking spot
And when I pushed on the gas pedal it didnt move..it was almost like it was
In neutral and just revving the engine.
So once again i turned the car off... waited a few seconds turned it back on
And all of sudden it was fine..

Can anyone tell me what that was...or why that happened
Very strange.. also I don't know if this has anything to do with it
But if I'm at a complete stop or I am slowing down or am just trying to
Accelerate its almost like its a slow response then picks up..and sometimes
It kind of sputters when I pick up speed for like a spilt second.

It sounds like you got multiple issues but it sounds like when you first were backing up the car died and you didn't realize it.

When was the last time you changed spark plugs cap and rotor ? If oxygen sensor has never been replaced it is probably overdue. Stick with Denso and avoid Bosch like the plague.
