Default Changing a light on the top of the dash (the one that shines on gas guage & speedo)

Hi- the light at the top of the dash just blew out, and its now hard to read the gas guage at night. I notice two screw holes at the top of the dash (although I couldn't make out if there was a flat head screw, phillips head screw, hex screw or whatever as it was too dark) Can I remove the two screws and pull the top of the dash down enough to change the one light on the right side of the top of the dash by bending it down, or is it more involved then that? I figured I would ask before I go pulling the whole thing apart and breaking something
Thanks
Andrew

Hey,
I have a 96 and just pulled the cluster out the other day. It's fairly simple. First unscrew the 2 screws at the top of the black dash trim. Then pull out your cruise control buttons, temperature selection dials (pops out with a flathead). Also remove your radio and radio trim. Where the radio is look in there and look up you will see 2 philips head screws. Unscrew them. Then where your cruise control button is suppose to be. You will see another philips head screw, unscrew it. Then remove the rear defroster button. Behind that you will see another philips head screw, unscrew it. Make sure to tilt the steering wheel all the way down. The trim should just pull out with ease now. Then there are 4 screws to hold the cluster down. One on the left, one of the right, and two on each side on the bottom. Unscrew them and pull out the 3 harnesses at the top. And you are done.

Boy- I was actually hoping it wasn't as involved as that. I would have to remove the radio too? I just need to get to one of the top lights above the guages, but I guess they buried the light in there that the whole piece needs to come off? Maybe I'll just live with the dim dash...I'll look at it this weekend, but it sounds like dis-mantling the whole dash is called for which sound like a lot of work for that light...

Thanks for the help!

You have the remove the radio and the trim around it because there are two screws that you have to reach that are up there. Yea the lights are attached to the cluster.

95accord yeah you will have to go throw the process that Canonm7 gave you , i can get to the cluster in less then 5 min. it should only take you 30 min to get to the cluster and 10 min to put the dash back on . the hard stuff is finding the screws but canonm7 tod you where they are. the bulb is small too cost like .50 at a auto store.
