Car Wont Start ? Relay Maybe? Help? Anyone?
my car won't start. i turn the key it starts and then turns off after that. i put the key in 3 position and the lights on the dash wont come on at all. only when i try starting it. everything is fine with the fuses and battery. can it be a relay? the key switch it's self?

i thinkit is because right now the car is on . i took a wire and tied it on the clove box so it could hold it to stay on. if the wire comes lose the car turns off

You may be able to buy just part of the ignition switch. I'm not sure. Check that out before buying the whole thing.
