A/C problem...with no luck
Sorry guys, I've searched with no luck...
My '94 is in perfect shape other than my a/c... My compressor has been making sounds for a while now but has worked. About a month ago my a/c fan went (i'm thinking) cause when the a/c was on the fan wasn't. So I replaced it and it worked fine. Now the other day I went to put the a/c on but the compressor did not kick in nor did the fan. Is there a relay or switch I should be looking at? I noticed my fan wasn't working after the other fan kicked on after the engine was off from a long trip. Any ideas? Thanks! |

Re: A/C problem...with no luck (rudeman85)
it could be one of the following
1. relay 2. Wiring 3. Control Unit 4. ECU |
chk the condensor fuse in the underhood fuse box ..,if it is ok,, then chk to see if u get power at the red wire that goes to the compressor ,, try those and post results

Re: (deserthonda)
Check the blower motor relay! I'm having the same problem.

You probably have a leak in the system somewhere. If the refrigerant pressure drops too low the A/C pressure switch will basically deactivate the A/C system to keep the compressor from running dry.
