Default Brakes

I have a little problem with my brakes, whenever I start my car to go to school in the morning and come up on my first stop, they squeal like crazy. But after the first stop, they don't squeal anymore. I think I need new brake pads but I thought it was odd that they only squealed one time. Can you guys help me out?

Some brakes pads need a little heat to be at peak performance. That first stop is what brings them up to heat. Dont like it? Buy some Honda OEM pads.

Yeah I have the exact same problem. Mine squeal on occasion.I think you should take a look at the rotors. Either they are scored and need to be shaved, or you need new ones altogether. Or you should just go with oem pads. My next check im getting new rotors and pads.

Is it early enough for any condensation to be on them? That would cause it.

they probably just get dirty and it takes a stop or two to get the dirt off...if it doesn't keep doing it, there is no problem

btw: overnight lows in tx the last few weeks have been about 80 degrees...its not cold
