Default HELP ME SOMEONE, MY ACCORD IS DYING

Well, i recently got my 95 honda accord ex vtec sedan automatic, all stock except the 17 inch rims. My parent's had the car for a few years and never took good care of it, then they didn't drive it for like 3 months and then decided to give it to me. I got the seals fixed and now i need a tune up.

-now for the problems.
*i can't get passed 80mph
*got a new battery, and it was good for about a month until now. today i started up my car and it barely turned on. shut it off, and came back down about an hour later and tried to turn it on again, when i turned the ignition, the battery died and i heard a clicking sound.
*MOST IMPORTANT PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN I GO FROM PARK TO REVERSE OR DRIVE OR VISE VERSA, MY WHOLE CAR SHAKES HARD, AND ALSO WHEN MY CAR GOES UP IN GEARS.

ANY HELP IS VERY APPRECIATED. THX

as far as your battery ... take it to autozone and get it tested and if its still good get it recharged ... its free ... if the battery is good and it dies again ... you might have a bad alternator ... i think autozone has a machine to test that too ...

the shaking ... well check all your mounts ... motor mounts to transmission mounts ... and to be safe check your transmission fluid level ...

most def take it to autozone for the battery and alt tests its free, and will help you out .

as for tranny make sure the fluid is at good level and that its a pinkish color, and yes youc an def tell if its pink, or brown, if its brown and looks ugly replace it with HONDA ATF you can get it at honda dealerships, good luck

by the way 94-97 (5th gen) regardless of fluid lvls and pinkish quality, the gears will shift hard.. now im not saying rock *** knock you out of ur seat hard, but you will def fell the gears changing and it will jolt you slightly, its just how they are.

i wouldnt recommend doing that lol ... its almost as bad as neutral dropping an automatic when you just stomp on the gas pedal to the medal style ... symptoms would likely be slipping of the gears rather than hard shifting ...
