AC water drain goes onto frame
I believe my brake lines are shot - didn't put that in the title since I'm just going to need to bring the car in for repair. A week go the Brake light illuminated - added some fluid to the reservoir which was low. Was ok until today when I stopped a bit suddenly, the pedal went almost to the floor. Was able to get the car home safely, thankfully having a manual transmission helped. The reservoir is now empty.
Anyway - after pulling in the driveway I thought I saw where the brake fluid was leaking. No - it was water coming from a short piece in the firewall, right onto the frame. I believe it was MAD MIKE that mentioned that needs to be corrected in gen 6 Accords. I don't see any rust, so maybe I'm lucky but want to re-route the water. I wonder what is a typical somewhat inexpensive solution? I was thinking of maybe a piece of rubber hose onto the drain stub in the firewall, but I'm not sure if the piece i long enough or accessible to put a hose on it with a small hose clamp.
