ABS light/buzzing sound on a '94 Accord EX
I've posted before about the ABS light going on and off in my girl's 1994 Accord EX. I previously made the problem go away by adding brake fluid to the ABS reservoir. The light would go away for some time, in fact the last "refill" lasted about 6 months.
Now, for the past week or so, the problem is back and it's worse than before. Once I start the car, there is a buzzing/whining noise coming from the dashboard for about a minute, after which the ABS light comes on and stays on until the car is turned off.
Can someone please give me an idea of what's going on, and approximately how much I am looking at in parts and amount of work?
TIA!

Your master cylinder could be going out and leaking fluid down the firewall. Just a possibility. That was my problem when I was loosing fluid. But my ABS light never came on.
Also if you can do it yourself buy a remanufactured master cylinder at Autozone, I paid $55 about 2 months ago and did it myself. Saved over $300 since I didn't take it in.

Quick question regarding ABS... how do I know if my car has it? I was trying to get some cv joints and axles but wasn't sure if I needed the ABS ones or not..thanks

The brakes are still working fine, and I am not seeing any fluid under the car (car is garaged). I also looked in the engine bay, no signs of fluid leaking anywhere. The brakes fell nice and firm too, not signs of leak or air or fluid loss.
Is there any way to get the error code for the ABS?

The ABS light will come on when you first start up the car. Also ABS cars generally have front and rear disc brakes.
