Tranmission..once again
well some of you may have seen my posts before saying i was putting a new tranny in my car well I got it dropped out finally..went and bought a used one with like 92k miles on it..looked in great shape...put it in reconnected all the wires put fluid in everything..put all the extras back on..dropped my car..started it and it started of course but it wont go into drive or anything..its like it wants to kinda but it wont...im not sure if ive hooked up something wrong or what...before we put the axles back in we were checking inside there to see if it was spinning in drive and it was but now that we have it all together it wont do anything..i know i have all the wires reconnected and everything..what do you all think this could be??
problem 2..my hood release wont work so i cant pop the hood to look under there..it pulls and its like the cable is to long or something i took my fenders and **** off but i know that wouldnt have anything to do with the hood release..any ideas on this..is there a way to pop the hood without the release?? any help would be highly appreciated thanks guys

problem 2: Probably your hood latch on the hood, just mess with the spring if it has one*cant remember at the tip of my head* But just play around with that thing. its probably getting caught on soemthing or just needs to be pushed down with more force. (try having 2 people pop it 1 push down on the hood, if it works that way, then its the latch.

is it automatic, or 5 speed,
And also for Question 2, have someone pull the lever, while you push on the hood in the latch area, with all your weight, and it should pop open

How many quarts of ATF did you put in? Usually you have to add fluid, then run it and add more fluid About 7 quarts for a totally empty trans and Torque Converter.
Are you sure the inner CV joints are all the way seated and correct for the trans you installed?
Isn't it funny that the salvage yards NEVER have cars parts over 100k miles on them; lying sacks of SH*T every one of them !!

Re: (02 accord)
lol yes its automatic and ive put more fluid in it and it seems to be at the right level and it runs now and goes into drive and everything correctly..now i have another problem
Problem 3!...it wont come out of park..so i took the center console out...and the only way to get it out of park is to push down on the shift lock button and hold it down...wat the hell is up with that..its like it needs to be down further so it can come out of park...i dont know how to go about this...also does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the 2 bolts back on the downpipe that connects to the catylic converter..they have springs on them but i cant get them to compress to put the tap on it and tighten them so my car sounds like straight up rice right now
