98 accord. problems starting n more
My Honda accord won't start. I just changed the distributor, the battery, head gasket, it was running great yesterday after fixing the distributor but after it sits for a few hours it won't really start. It won't quite catch on wen I try to turn it over so I have to give it alittle gas. But now this morning it was click or anything, what could it he now??

Check you starter. Make sure you are getting power to the starter to crank the engine. Check your fuel pressure and make sure you are getting enough fuel to the injectors to pulse. Also you can pull your spark plug wires and see if the distributer is sending spark to the spark plugs. Any check engine light?

Check basics first, make sure you have 12V at battery. If so, then when trying to start, does all lights go off as soon as you try and start? If thats the case, clean battery terminals. If they stay on, then you want to check that your starter is getting 12v. If it is, then suspect starter, if it is not, then you probably have a relay issue/ignition switch etc.

Its not the starter if you have to give it gas to start.
Try checking fuel pressure at the rail, also suspect a faulty fuel regulator.
Check spark like gary said. Also you may have through off the dist timing when u changed the distributor. Any DTCs? Check engine light on?
