Default 97 honda accord ex signal lights

I have a 97 honda accord. My headlights and back lights work .When I turn the signal switch left it blinks in the back but not the front. When I turn the signal to the right nothing happens. Also, my hazard lights arent blinking as well. Really could use some guidance. Another thing right side hyper flashes. I can hear the clicking for the hazards and right turn signal. The hazard fuse Underwood has to have a 20 fuse instead of the 15 because its blowing it.

Default Re: 97 honda accord ex signal lights

Something I have run into a number of times on these vehicles is that the hazard switch contacts get a slight amount of corrosion from lack of use but voltage runnlng through them all of the time. This is called terminal fretting and is very common. If the switch is located on top of the steering column you can press and release it 20 or so times and it will usually start working again. You can also try spraying some electrical contact cleaner down in the switch as well. Sometimes that will help a stubborn switch. Of course the bulbs and terminal contacts need to be inspected and replaced as well. Sounds like you have more than one issue going on.

Hope this helps.
