Default 97 accord lx f20b nightmare swap aka i wana kill myself swap

okay honda tech members i am working on swapping a jdn f20b engine into a 97 accord lx the mechanical part of the swap is done now to the wiring i am no electrician but i did however do my research well as much as i could but im running an obd1 p28 ecu with a f20b basemap i repinned a6 and a11 at the ecu then from the crank sensor side of the harness i repinned the female side of the h22 plug to this diagram i ran the dizzy wires from the f22 harness to the jdm dizzy plug attached green yellow to green yellow yellow to yellow white to white and black to black as everyone said u just match the colors up now the f22 had external coil so i have the black and yellow wires to eachother and the blue wire is left over now and was told that the green wire is not needed to the dizzy on the f20b but so far then engine cranks but i got no spark why and what does the extra blue wire from the external coil go to ???? please help

I'm not going to go into the effort of trying to figure out what you did. I will give you advice as to what you should have done. You don't need to swap A6 and A11 unless you had an obd1 94-95 accord which you don't. You need an obd2a to obd1 subharness. From what I've seen you can have a tuner adjust the timing to get it to specs since the crank sensor is still at the crank without converting anything but honestly I'm not sure how that works. There's a thread around here where someone says they were able to do it. Then get a td-61u distrbutor. You will need the top half of an intake manifold from an h22 since the f20b uses a three wire iacv.

I'm not going to say put the wiring back the way it was, but I would if it was me, since you will want to let the subharness do the conversion.

and im running the wires from the plug on the harness where the crank sensor connects not the sensor itself i have it wired to the female end of the dizzy plug in the order of the diagram and from the dizzy side of the f22 harness i matched up the colors with the green wire left over and the coil wires to the only coil wire on the f20b dizzy wich is black and yellow to black and yellow with the blue wire left over wich i do belive is the tach signal lead

I believe rywire has an obd2 to obd1 distributor conversion kit. Just call them up. I would use that. It will move the crank sensor harness from your existing crank area over to the distributor. Then with the td-61u you will just set the base timing yourself by looking at the crank pulley and timing cover instead of on an existing obd1 block through the peek hole. It should have the notches there to line up the timing. You will need to jumper the service connector obviously. Since you already moved some distributor pins you will just need to put it back the way it was.

It's going to be something similar to that picture you posted. But you want it to be exact so give them a call.

Run a wire from the ylw/blk to the ylw/blk on the dizzy plug the other end I go at declaring that of the original coil power. That is the one that shares the starter signal wire, you'll then be getting spark initially running the engine but you'll get tired of it like me and then go to Rywire for a f/h series harness that's obd2a and just get the jumper to make it read 2b or in your situation obd1. But this way you get their harness. So you can use there converters which means you can run 2b, 1, and 2a but you will need a jumper harness 2a to read 2a rofl
