97 Accord coupe no crank
I have a 97 Accord coupe. No crank no start. I have checked ignition switch and starter relay. I have the right power coming in and out of switch all at the right times my relay makes no difference with an new one. I am not getting any power to my solenoid wire for my starter and my windows and gauges stopped working at the same time this problem started. I also checked my Ignition fuse. I can jump the solenoid and it starts and runs just time... Any ideas??

Re: 97 Accord coupe no crank
If manual transmission, perhaps the small plastic grommet that presses the starter disengage safety switch when the clutch is pressed has worn out. That switch must be activated for 12V to go to the starter solenoid.

Sorry. I missed that part of your first post.
Did you work on anything just prior to this trouble showing up or did it come up out of the blue?
When you get it fired up, perhaps go to Autozone, Advance, or other, and see if they'll check the output of your alternator, and also make sure the battery is good.
Failing alternators can cause strange symptoms long before the battery finally dies from getting no help.
Is the computer storing any codes?
