96' Honda Accord, rough idle when AC is on and reversing?
I have a 96' Accord with 4 cyl. 2.2 engine. When starting engine, it appears to sound fine, however after warming up, and putting it in reverse or running the AC. I'm getting a rough idle speed and a vibration. after accellerating down the road, everything seems fine. When coming to a stop sign, I get the rough idle and vibration again.
Can anyone help? I was told maybe motor mount but I don't know which one. I did feel the front mount, it seemed to wooble around I can move it back and forth but I don't know if this is normal or not because it is old car.
How much do you think to tighten up the motor mount bracket?
Thank you,
Sam.

If it's the front mount (center of car between rad and engine) it is VERY easy to change. It is molded rubber so you can't tighten it, just replacement. To be sure you can remove the "thru" bolt (14mm or 17mm can't remember) from the pass side and see if the "center" of the mount is still attached by the rubber. from there you are about six more bolts from having it replaced, three holding it to the subframe/frame and three more holding a bracket to the engine. Did that one on my 95 EX Auto about a month ago, 30 minutes with a few breaks.
