took everything apart and the problem lies on the block... warped/dipping .003 between each cylinder

Shoulda done a leakdown test first because 0.003" is still within factory spec for the deck clearance, so there's absolutely nothing wrong with the block. Now that the head is off, snap a picture of both the gasket and the deck and we can see if it was just a blown head gasket or not. Also, I would run your head down to a machine shop so that they can resurface, check valves for leaks, and check the head for cracks.

Yep, try it again with new gasket. Try using the old bolts and make sure you use the proper stages and sequences with torq'in the head back on.

i am really thinking of trying this again...with my old bolts and new gasket

when i took the new head and gasket back off the blow-by was between cylinders1 & 2 and between cylinders 3 & 4 on top of the head gasket and the bottom of the head...it was all black the block was completely clean... what i dont understand is why the problem was worse w/ the new head...the old head had alot of warpage but the problem wasnt as bad so that leads me to belive that someone prviously used a block sealer and i cleaned it off??? i know this car was badly overheated b/c the plastic piece that holds the timing cover on was melted...i just dont want to waste 70 bux on a new gasket and still have this problem...

Should have done a leak down test. I even gave you a diy on a home made leak down tester with a compression tester hose. I also seen a lot of people recommend a leak down test after you finished putting it together n it wouldnt start

$70 bux for a headgasket is a bit steep? I've seen them online for $25 or so like this for instance. http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/se...tt=head+gasket
