Default 97 Accord Trunk Question

I'm looking into getting a keyless entry system for my 97 ex, and I was wondering if the car would support a trunk pop off the remote as well. Standard features on the EX include a "remote trunk pop," but I'm not entirely sure what that means. Some of you may think this is a dumb question, but I just got the car and unfortunately it did not come with the owner's manual. I figure if I'm getting keyless entry, I'll get one that can pop the trunk assuming I don't have to pay to have a solenoid put in or anything.

Thanks for the help.

on my 6th gen, you need to press down the bottom for 2 second and it will pop up by itself. what it does is that a motor(you can heard the noise too)trigger by you remote kinda pull the trunk release cable(same on for the interior trunk release lever, trunk key hole and the safety thingie inside the trunk.
If you need to pay all the parts for it, I say just forget it.
I look at it as a luxury item..

if you buy the honda keylss kit you can get the trunk release for around 50 bucks more, plus the car is wired for it already.
