Re: 93 honda accord "SRS" light will not go off (jrw2scw)
I've owned my 93 for like 5-6 years now
My srs light goes on and off but mostly on!
I would like to know myself!
Someone told me that a yellow wire had to be replaced from my airbag because it was deployed!
Said the wire had to be changed with the airbag!
also told me it had to be changed every 10 years as regular maintenance !
If that is the case here can someone help me out on how to change it?sorry don't mean to steal ur thread!

Check fuses for all three... if all three are acting up it could be a related wiring issue, or just independant snowballing of issues.
If the SRS light is on.. its most likely your air bag module. They are known to go bad. When i got the 95 accord the SRS light was on and i was quoted $1000 to replace the module. If your handy you could probably find one at the wreckers and do it yourself, although you would want to confirm that is the problem first. Do you know anyone with a code reader? I got lucky (sort of) because our honda was stolen and ditched by a couple of kids. Insurance company must have assumed it was damaged and had it replaced. i didnt even think to mention it until i got the car back and the light was off.

Hmmm ................3 problems at the same time ......
Hmmm............... all 3 have an electrical component in common.
The REEL ASSY #3 in this pic, located under the steering wheel.
Be sure to install it correctly.
