93 Accord Lx - Check Engine Light
I was driving down the street and my ride starting to act sluggish. I notice that I had a antifreeze scent coming from under my hood. I took it to the Dealer and they told me that the By-Pass Hose was broken and the Heater Inlet Hose was mushy. I replaced both hoses and had a oil change done. Now I now having a Check Engine Light once I took it on the Freeway and opened up. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what this could possibly be?

You should get an engine rehose done. at this age of the hoses another could burst. as for the check engine light look under the glove box right kick panel you should see two connectors one with 3 wire and another with two. get a paper clip and jump the two pin connector and then the check engine light will flash the code say: one long blink seven short is 17 (vss) etc.. the most common problems are:
code 41 heater element 4 long 1 short
code 17 vehicle speed sensor 1 long seven short
code 12 egr valve lift sensor 1 long two short
if they replaced the heater hoses it may be possible that the vaccum hose for the egr was accidentaly disconnected since is routed under the intake hose, this would not cause an immedately check engine light until driven for 10-15 min or so.
