H22 swap question

H22 swap question
Swapping JDM H22 into 97 lx, can I use my f22 fuel rail with the H22 injectors, or do I need to pick up the US spec Prelude fuel rail? Also converting to OBD I if it makes a difference.

Re: H22 swap question
You need to find a H22 fuel rail feeding from the driverside because thats where your fuel filter line is at. And no, I don't think the F22 Fuel Rail will work.

nus dogg: thanks, I figured as much. I will pick up a prelude fuel rail.
gogydm: I will be ordering a 92-95 OBD I motor in the next couple of weeks. I'm just trying to round up odds and ends for the swap.

Re: H22 swap question
If its a motor from japan the banjo bolt that goes to the fuel rail will be on the driverside.. all you have to do is use your stock fuel rail along with the H22 injectors

im doing a h22a swap in my 6th gen accord right now. watch on what timing belt kit you get the water pumps are different from jdm- usd. i made that mistake. also jdm engines need you to reroute a wire to the dizzy. ill get all the info once the swap is done

Thanks for the tip, I was planning on ordering a new water pump from Honda when I get the new timing belt set. Are the pumps themselves different or just the pulley?

Re: H22 swap question
There's a few that comes feeding from the passenger side; might've been the JDM H23As, but I did read during the process of my H22 swap that you'll need to buy another fuel rail feeding from the driverside so that tells me that there are some with it feeding from the passenger side. And mine came feeding from the driverside, so I sold the extra rail I bought to someone else.
