92 accord trouble starting and hesitation/stalling
Someone please help I have a 92 accord that has a hard time starting. When I turn it on I turn it over for 4 seconds and it doesn't start, I turn the key off and turn it over again it starts fine. When I hit the gas it putters and stalls if I keep the gas pushed. If I slowly accelerate the gas in parked it will rev up and once it starts to rev I can rev it hard does the same in drive but is more sensitive
Ive cleaned the fast idle thermal valve and idle air control valve, checked for vaccine leaks new cap and rotor wires and plugs, new fuel filter, bleed the coolant system for air and tested egr valve

Re: 92 accord trouble starting and hesitation/stalling
you getting any codes?
you verify the iacv is actually functioning properly?
check fuel pressure?
coolant temp sensor?
also check coil and ignitor and verify your getting good spark.

first thing i would test when having problems starting is the engine coolant temperature sensor ... should be 2000-2500 ohms when the engine is cold and 180-250 ohms when the engine is warmed up fully

sounds like the pump is bleeding pressure just after the key is turned on. It may have pressure but if it drops right away there is something else wrong even an injector issue

Did you ever figure out what was causing your issue? I am having the same issue. I replaced my Igniter, new battery and alternator. Could it be the air boost valve?
