1990 accord ex no start
1990 Honda Accord EX Automatic
The problem i am having is the vehicle is currently not starting. the problem occurred during a cold night (-20 celcius) it was running fine then all of a sudden would not start after i had stopped at a store. since then i have replaced the battery (old one froze) spark plugs, wires, distributor & coil. I have confirmed spark in all cylinders and fuel. when i turn the key to the on position the c.e.l. comes on and goes off after about 2 seconds and you hear the click from the main relay under the dash board. the car turns over fine, just does not want to fire. i am not sure where to go from here, any suggestions?

-20 celcius? I suspect the oil is frozen.
Joking aside, are you certain the injectors have command? Since you have spark, check actual ignition timing.

K as weird as this sounds it could be as simple as a fuel filter..
Was a tech for GMC and have seen that happen a few times. Try it its only about 15 bucks for a new filter and well worth it if you haven't replaced it before.
If that doesn't work the accords are famous for having a bad ignition coil... (was sorta considered a recall a few years back).. The coil itself is way to expensive as Honda is the only place to get them, plus you can't return the coil! So your better off buying a new ignition that would come with a rotor and cap. Just remove your old plugs and wires switch them across in the same order. When switching the ignition MAKE SURE to have the rotor underneath the cap line up in the same spot so your ignition is in the right order!!!! So remove the new cap off the ignition and the old ignition, compare making sure not to move the old ignitions rotor. Install the new ignition with the rotor in the same spot, can only go in 2 ways with the rotor being off 180 if you mess up.. All post pics in a little as I just replaced mine.
