Icon5 5th Generation Honda Accord lowering recommendations

Hi Honda Forums, I had a quick question for y'all. So I bought some lowering springs for my 1994 Honda Accord and installed them yesterday and the ride is firm except for the pretty harsh bouncing the car has over roads that aren't perfectly smooth. I'm still using the original stock OEM Struts with the new coils, so the question I had was that if I replaced those with new OEM style struts or even a higher tension strut would that improve the overall stability of the ride and reduce the bounce at all? Thanks

Springs need to have dampers('shocks') that are valved for the spring rate and digressive dampening to properly control the spring rebound.
Too 'soft' of valving, the car will bounce.
Too 'stiff' of valving, the car will crash over imperfections in the road as the damper does not allow the spring to keep the tire in contact with the road.

Find out what your spring rate is.
Any decent spring company will offer a set of dampers or will suggest a model of damper to suit your springs needs.

What about coilovers? I think they cost more typically but if you have to purchase new dampers it might be a wash? Daily driven vs racing?

I'd be curious. I know there are pros and cons to each.
