Default 5th Gen shifter stick vs. Prelude shifter stick

was just wondering if the stock 5th gen shifter stick is longer and has longer throw than a 92-96 prelude shifter stick. a friend just did a tranny swap in his 5th gen and used a prelude shifter and shift plate that came with another friends h22 swap and it looks and the throw is alot shorter than mine. just wanna know if anyone has used a prelude shifter and noticed a difference in height and throw between gears

oh no, the header not for sale, jus the wheels and exhaust, but i would like to get 400 for the exhaust. i paid 600 for it. its been used for about 4 months, there is only a few scratches on the bottom of the muffler and the end of the tip, you cant see any of it, you have to get on the ground and look at it. its a great sounding exhaust and there was a noticable difference in power too.

i dunno if i have anything else that you would want. i have like blue headlight bulbs, a/t indiglo pedals, a DEI Viper 300 alarm, stock 96-97 sideskirts and rear bumper. i have a few more things that i cant think of, but if you need anything in particular, you can ask and ill let you konw if i have any of it

Yes, I am 100% positive

The Accord shifter is very long.

My short shifters are another half inch shorter than the 4gen Prelude shifter.

Sounds good. If you order 2+ and I can ship to the same address I'll give you a good discount.

the 92-96 shifter sits lower, but doesn't reduce shift throws.

imo, learn to shift faster, but the 4bidden shifter is the best way to go if you insist on shorter throws.

Think about that for a second keeping in mind how the shift mechanism in our cars works, then edit your post.

it doesn't reduce the throws though, it only looks good. i had a lude shifter in my H22 Accord. if it did reduce throw, it did it by such a small amount it was hard to notice. my stock shifter in the rex seems shorter than what i had in the accord.
