Unless you are looking to go hellaflush or huge wheels. Most wheel and tire shops that have a shop by vehicle search engine will be able to show you a 17" wheel and tire combo that fits stock trim.
Offset is the distance between the center line of the wheel and the bolting surface/hub. Offset is sometimes referred to as ET.

Go out and take some measurements from your car and play around with this;
Rim & Tire Size Calculator. Custom Offsets - Wheel-Size.com
2001 Accord wheel specs
4 Cylinder
Bolt pattern = 4 x 114.3
Offset = 40
Stock wheel and tire = 14" 195/70R14 or 15" x 205/65R15
6 Cylinder
Bolt pattern = 5 x 114.3
Offset = 47
Stock wheel and tire = 15" 205/65R15 or 16" 205/60R16
