2000 Accord Drvr side auto lock problem

My 2000 Accord has a problem that appears to only affect the drivers side door autolock function. Whenever I try to open the drivers side door, it automatically locks ALL the doors. I can open it if I time it just right and open as soon as I hear the click. Too early or too late, they all lock, whether the key is in the ignition or not. I have locked the keys in the car with the engine running, that is not "supposed" to be possible.

I have replaced the actuator and am waiting on parts to replace the entire lock assembly on Drivers side door, but I'm beginning to doubt that will solve the problem. :thud: It appears to me to be something electrical and the door lock assembly may or may not have anything to do with solving this problem????

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
