1999 Accord 1 Fuel Injector not getting power
The car runs rough at idle and sounds bad, but smooths out at higher rpms... I though it might be the distributor, so I replaced that... but it wasn't. I have replaced spark plugs, wires, and now it has a new distributor, cap and rotor, and then I figured out an injector wasn't working. So, I bought a new one and installed it, but same problem... I don't think the new injector is bad, so somehow it is not getting power. How can one injector not get power?

Re: 1999 Accord 1 Fuel Injector not getting power (f355berlinetta)
Typically in Honda fuel injection systems the injectors all share power at all times [key on] and it is the ECU/PCM that allows the ground path for each individual injector to activate.
If the injector is not pulsing as it should there would be a cylinder misfire code stored in the computer.

Re: 1999 Accord 1 Fuel Injector not getting power (f355berlinetta)
The injector is getting power when I turn the key to on position. I tried measuring the voltage while running, and the voltage was fluctuating, so I think it is pulsing. I was reading some other people's problems that are exactly like mine, and it looks like it could be a burnt valve... they never posted to say exactly what fixed it, though. So, has anyone else ever heard of that?
