I have a 2002 Honda Accord and I'm having a problem with the car alarm

I opened the door and put the key in the ignition and turned it on and my car alarm goes off... It goes off when i lock the doors too

what could be causing this

Aftermarket alarm??

Check the fuses near the "brain" most likely under your kick panel.

Alarm and remote need programed or re synced....... I have a viper alarm\ car starter and everytime i set the alarm off i need to reprogram it. I just turn the key to on hit the little blinking blue light button then to the car off and hit lock. Then its done. My car did the same thing the first time i set it off even afyer i turned the alarm off its some safety feature
