looking good, ur on the right track.
can i suggest an obd1 conversion harness and ectune/demon combo in a chipped ecu. you could always plug ur obd2 ecu back in to do emissions testing.

I have a question about the ecu swapping from obd1 to obd2 for emissions reasons.
Is it just as simple as replacing the ecu itself?
Or would the distributor and injectors have to be swapped as well?
I will be in a similiar situation and want to strike a balance of tunability and ease of passing emissions testing.
