Default Fuel pump doesn't work after new engine

I've been looking on the internet for answers but nothing really seems like could be a solution for my problem, the thing is i blew a rod bearing in my old engine in my ce7 accord V I bought a new engine and installed it my self, connected everything and turned on the ignition, nothing, car cranks and has spark but won't start, I get the brake cleaner and spray it in to my manifold, car starts fine works fine and sounds fine, give it some gas and it revs good, after a while the rpms lower to arround 100 to 200 and the car dies, I do it again as soon as the engine starts to die I give it more spray and its fine again, I go in the back to hear the fuel pump and nothing.
Can someone help me out?
The only thing that's not plugged in is a yellow wire to a coolant temp sensor that's removed with a 12mm spanner, it had a kinda of spring or coil inside, mine completely broke off and I haven't gotten a new one to install, I've read somewhere that temp sensors sometimes have something to do with fuel pumps, is that the case? The oem reference to the sensor I'm talking about is OEN 8342087702 thanks in advance
