1990 Honda Accord LX - CEL Codes
I have spent some time looking at threads / info. about checking the CEL codes for my car. I have seen some that said the '90 doesn't have the blue diagnotic connector plug that can be jumped with the paperclip...and others who say it does.
Can anyone confirm which is correct?
I looked and found a blue plug (the only one I can see) on the passenger side side panel...but it doesn't look like I can jump this plug with the connection...I attached some pictures to give you a look.
Is this not the diagnostic plug? Is something missing from it?
Thanks for your help.
AJ

Re: 1990 Honda Accord LX - CEL Codes
- 6 year old thread.
- That is indeed the 2 prong Self Diagnostics Connector that you short for CEL code reading on a 90-93 Accord.
- There is no OBD1 diagnostics scanner for these Accords.
