Are you trying to use a 90-95 F series distributor on your 01 F series?
On 96-02 cars the CKP/TDC sensors are on the crank.

If you are using a 90-95 distributor on a 96-02 F22/F23 you can ignore the CKP wires(BLU/GRN & BLU/YEL) and TDC wires(ORG/BLU & WHT/BLU)

BLK/YEL goes to BLK/YEL (Power)
YEL/GRN goes to YEL/GRN (ECM/PCM)

BLU is Tach output, not sure if this exists on the 98-02 car. Look for an underhood 'tach connection' plug, Blue wire, possibly with white speckles and a big rubber plug on the end floating by the fuse box or main harness connections.

ORG and WHT are the CYP sensor wires on 90-95 cars. Orange is a shielded wire.
YEL and BLK are the CYP sensor wires on the 98-02 cars. I *think* Yellow is a shielded wire.

If you are mixing Hitachi or TEC distributors with a TEC or Hitachi harness, remember that the Hitachi and TEC distributors can have the #1 cylinder in a different position from each one. Tower closest to 'A' or 'A1' is #1 cylinder.
