Icon5 00 Accord 3.0l Fan Issue?

Hi,

I just got a 2000 Accord 3.0l Automatic few months back and been tinkering little bit with it. Fixed some oil leaks a motor mount but Now I've got the P0116 code.
I've noticed that driver's side fan comes on with AC & the other doesn't. I don't know if there's a problem now cause I think both ran before. I know 1 or both run after car is turned off after running for a while.
Would the Temp sensor cause that? It hasn't overheated yet or gone past half.

1. P0116 may due to a faulty thermostat.

2. The driver side fan is the radiator fan, and the passenger side fan is the AC condenser fan. Regardless, both are cooling fans.

When the AC is on; both cooling fans should be running. In addition, if the coolant temperature reaches ~ 190 degree F at Fan Switch A with the ignition switch ON or car is running, both cooling fans should also run.

In regards to the AC condenser fan not running, first check Under-hood Fuse No. 58 (20A).

As previously stated, when the AC is on; both cooling fans should be running.

Another test, unplug the green electrical connector at Fan Switch and jump the connector with a wire or small paper clip. Turn ignition to ON (car does not have be running), both fans should come on.

If AC condenser fan (passenger side fan) still does not run, you can apply direct power (+) and ground (-) to the AC condenser fan to see if it operates. Blk wire is ground, Blu/Blk is for power.

Ok, I've check the fuse & relay for the Condesner fan. Relay = good, Fuse = blown. Changed Fuse & the ECT Sensor, still No go. Did the paper clip test = No go. Applied power directly to the Fan = No go.

I guess the Fan is bad right? Also notice that coolant was overflowing into the reservoir. Fan doesn't come on with/out AC.
