Oahu. Lowest price on 87.

i know 100 octane is like $8.

Nothing you guys don't already know. However, before spending the $$$ on a locking gas cap, check to see if your tank has a screen. Some new cars have a screen in the neck of your tank. It's to prevent dirt and garbage getting in. It will also prevent siphoning too.

A side from what was mentioned in the article, try picture this.

It's easy to carry 2 gallons of milk. I can run pretty good with that. 3 gallons get's kind of hard. Anyone try to move a 10 gallon fish tank?

Not worth the work (and the danger) of stealing gas. For a criminal mind, there are "better" ways to husle $20 for 5 gallons. Even the Hobo guy at the stop light can do better.
