So here that update I was talking about that I've been trying to keep a secret and haven't told anyone even about the idea because I wanted to wait until I actually did it and see how it looked:

wanted to get something to match my s2k antenna




installed:


Yes, its JDM climate control that i "ruined"
but I couldn't see myself doing it on a USDM one
cause then I'd never use my JDM one and it would just be a waste
It was "risky" but i think it was worth it

and before the smart asses say what I know they will say
I don't have a heater core/fan, so no need for controls as i'm sure you're wondering what I'm going to do without them
Even if I had heat and needed fan controls
I'd find a way to "tuck" it and still be able to use them.

That said, let me know what you think
and if you're wondering...the ergonomics/location/position is perfect
very natural turning the key on then pressing the button
even better than s2k/dc5/fd2/OEM I would even say (at least the LHD ones with them cause its on the opposite side of the ignition)

:drool: BTW ward im putting in that rear panel this weekend. only took me a month or two to do it LOL

I just finished getting the two center nuts off at lunch. And whoever told me it was a 20 minute job lied or didnt have to do those. I spend 30 minutes on just those two. the other four were cake though once I got the trim and carpet off.

as for the white Sol i saw having black mirrors etc,im pretty sure that those parts werent aftermarket because the guy painted them white from black.if they were aftermarket he would just had them replaced i think...

The outside mirrors and the exterior door handles that are all body color on USDM sols.
