sold the SOHC i have getting another soon when i move. Ive been posting longer then him is what i was going for. Next sohc i get isnt going to be a honda though so is that still cool?

Ya get stationed at Nellis foo, thats only like 40 min away from my house..or 30ish. My other buddy went in the Marines, he has been in Japan for a long time now, 2 years I think.

Summers hit 110 here though lol. But thats usually July Aug...so instead of having hell for 5 months during winter or whatever, we just have 2 months of really hot heat.

Yeah exactly... I mean, it would be cool, but I'd simply be doing it for money. Right now we make enough, but we're living pay check to pay check, which sucks, but I know I'll eventually catch a break.

Being there is important. But man, everyone is living paycheck to paycheck..my last class last semester told us I think its 90% of Americans are 3 paychecks away from being broke and losing everything. I mean when you think about it, after everythings payed for and foods on the table, most people are waiting for the next one

They give you a house on base to live in, FOR FREE.

Health care for My wife and I as well as my son is FREE.

They take care of you and your family. The squadron I am with here, treats my spouse when I;m not around like a member of thier family.

I could go on forever and forever on the pros of joining the Air Force.

It has helped me tremendously. I could'nt ask for more

Ya EK brings up good points, IF you go in, I would do airforce. Army and Marines I hear do not get treated half as well as the Airforce does.

HAHA u winz! Its a hard choice to make it becomes your life. You have to be a strong person the navy and airforce are job branch's. Go into the air force or navy and your pretty much set. The army is DIFF if you go in as a grunt (unless you get some kind of schooling while in) you dont have alot to pick from when your out. Unless you want to be a cop I would try my best to stay away from being a grunt of shall i say a killing machine haha. Go in with a career in mind. If you dont put in what you want to do while in they will throw you in the meat grinder. I was a ranger **** was hard scary and it ****s you up in the head. I was in a convoy that looked for ied's we also scouted out small town's. We did alot at night trust me getting shot at night is not fun. But watching there dumb *** get blown up by there own ied's is funny as hell!

Hows boot camp for the air force?

They all share the same boot camp. Well the marines are diff they have there own which is hard as hell i went for that first sprung my wrist sent my *** home said to try again later. When i was in boot i was there with some navy guys and air force.

But no, the real delio, it's not hard at all. They mess with your mind a lot.

It's more mental games than anything else.

As far as boot camp goes, They are all different. They were similar until this past November. Basic Training is only 8 weeks

Lucky i came out with nothing i ****ed up so bad. I should have went to school while in and did somthing else. The ranger's eat my time up its like the army's spec op's. So i was told i should have just stayed in and turned it into my career. But after losing half your unit over four year's i had enough. I couldnt take it no more getting shot at by KID'S while trying to save there town was BS.

Yeah, I've been deployed to the desert.

But the job I'm in doesn't require me to go on convoys. Only if SF or MP are undermaned in when I get tasked for convoy duty.

Lucky man that **** is scary as hell ill admit it man i **** brick's every day i was in. We be on the outskirt's of some god forsaken village in the middle of the night and be like hey is it raining. Hell no we are being shot at from some towel head A holes on a hill. They shot at you for the hell of it if they killed you and it was seen by a higher up towel head. Your family got to eat like king's. That's what i was told by our interpreter who was shot helping a lady who was shot in the leg. Went to grab her baby from her and boom caped in the chest dropped the baby then the lady was shot. All hell broke lose after man do i have some story's. I joined right when everything was getting crazy!
