sidonny. if you dont mind letting others know. what did you spend roughly on your setup. ive been trying to do something of the sort as well. if not i understand though.
Re: ****HT's Official Em1 Crew Thread****
i spent about 1900 total on the block build not including the price of the block. Consists of a 1.8 usdm gsr block I bought legit with papers, the rest is all brand new oem honda (gaskets, bearings, pistons, rings, timing belt, h20 + oil pumps, etc...). To make it easier to pass smog, I used oem usdm itr pistons, got 25-over for a fresh cylinder wall for the rebuild.

Donny- very nice numbers on the poormans R setup
Re: ****HT's Official Em1 Crew Thread****
thanks bro ... and I'd rather get performance over looks when it comes to my bay , i honestly hate the little lines going across my aebs mani though
Re: ****HT's Official Em1 Crew Thread****
why not just get the blox intake mani bro? It looks similar to the gen1 skunk intake mani. They produce similar numbers, so it shouldn't be too bad

My lip is smashed to **** lol.
underside is almost completely white, and the paint is starting to crack. either time for a respray or a whole new lip.

I have quite a few including a small scrape in front from kissing a curb slightly.
Speaking of scrapes, I did a pretty decent sized one today pulling into my driveway, after driving it for only 2 minutes on the road. First day back on the road after 4 months of storage, hehe.

performer x is way better than than the victor x at lower power levels and especially in an all motor application. The whole design is just great. Alot of people overlook these manifolds but ask the people who use them, and they will tell you they are surprised with the results from what it can do performance wise.

I have a few questions for some of you guys.I have a friend thats got a 2000 coupe with a d series in it.Its automatic too but he is a crazy fool and wants to swap a manual b16 into it and please dont tell me it would be cheaper to get another car he actually wants to do the swap. The problem is if he gets a b16 motor and trans from H motors they only carry the first gen jdm motors so how would you get that to pass obd testing? Is it just as simple as getting a jumper harness or would he have to get a usdm swap?

Well thats what I mean I am not going to help him swap over all the necessary parts to do it that way.I would probably tell him to get a b18b and do an ls swap it would be much easier.
