Default Worked on a Scooby for the first time today!!!!

Pretty neat car! Installed underdrive pulley (MUCH easier than on a Honda). Should be fun in the future, as the owner has some nice plans. Just thought you car enthusiasts would appreciate the pics.

Don't worry, though. We won't be crossing over to the DARKSIDE. Just fun to wrench on something new...if you WRENCH, that is...

haha, that's because the engine is H-4 and the head/block is TOO LOW to be able to be seen

My co-worker has one . Fun little car. We did custom 3 inch stainless from the turbo back and ended it up with a Jun Ti muffler. Thing sounds sick as hell. He just put a boost controler on it as well. We do a lot with the WRX and stock a lot.

One of our customers a few months ago had just Boost controller and 3 inch crush bent exhaust. Pulled 13.4 @ 98 I believe. Talk about traction.

they should have put the EJ22 in that car instead of the EJ20. Oh well...let's see what they'll do for the STi version...if it ever appears here in the US.

scoobies are actually MUCH easier than honda's IMO

well at least for minor stuff.
all the belts are right up front, and the oil drain plug, and filter are really easy to get at...it's sickening.
