That is what I thought, I've just never heard it called the bitch pin. I call it the shift linkage pin/spring.

OP: The part is listed under shift lever and the part number is 90751-S04-000.

I've owned 7 Hondas and I've never heard it called that. It is probably because I do all my own mechanical work for my cars and my friends cars.

So do I. It just means you're antisocial and don't have many car friends.

No, my friends that are into cars don't do much mechanical work which is why I've never heard them call it the bitch pin. I may of heard it once or twice but since I call it the shift linkage pin I quickly forgot.

I use a flathead punch the size of like a pencil(exact size of the pin), a few good whacks with a hammer was all it took. yea I've always called it the bitch pin mainly cause its a bitch to take out, its usually the first thing I do when swapping motors since I know its a pain in the *** sometimes.

It was a joke.

You more than likely just bought the right tools and never had a problem with it. If you use the correct punch, you'll never have a problem.... but, people still insist that it be hit with a screwdriver.
