Default waffle maker recommendations

I need to buy one for my own use. Ive been exploring various cooking forums but the info is all over the place. What is a solid brand for kitchen appliances (i.e. not sold out to china)

Whichever will take up the least amount of space in your pantry, since you will never use it.

I love waffles too. Doesn't mean I make them every single day. Or every weekend. Or every month.

I bought this for a white elephant gift (from Costco). It was on sale for $29 at the time. Normal price I think is close to $40.

My cousin ended up with it and she loves it.

^^ Those Belgian style waffle makers are more affluent in the market today.
"Classic" waffles are becoming a thing of the past.

I got one today that looks similar to this, except its a flip style that sits inside a rotating assembly. I'm gonna give it a go tomorrow. I usually cook up a bigass batch of pancakes for the week each weekend, so instead of making pancakes I'll make waffles instead to switch it up.
