Anything you want to share? Often times, celebrities in IRL are different from how we view them.

The elephant sketch and the dentist sketch are two of the funniest things ever, IMHO. :-)

For people whose parents didn't watch the old Carol Burnett reruns or Dorf on Golf VHS tapes...RIP Barnacle Boy.

I am too young to remember him but listened to his son from time to time on KFI.

Been watching some of his OG work from the CB Show. Just saw the dentist one yesterday again since it originally aired. I've not laugh from the core in a long time..

Half the reason the skits were so funny was that nobody could keep a straight face. :-)

True. And back then, the laughter from the audience was real, and not piped in. I suppose it's hard to control it.

Vicki Lawrence talking about the elephant sketch, if you have 4 minutes.

If you're not old enough to remember, Vicki played "Mama" in the sketch and is the one who uttered the expletive which in those days never made it to air. They played it with a bleep.

^^^ I watched the actual video of what they are talking about. They tried so hard to hold in their laughter. I laugh the entire way, not because what Tim was saying, but just watching them trying to fight/hide it.

I never understood why Vickie Lawrence played the character "Mama" and then later in her show. She actually was the youngest member on the CB show. And when she had her own show, she was still at her prime and IMO, looked younger than the actress that played her daughter.
