At some point a manipulation of existence and what it means will allow us to travel great distances and remain in our own "times."

Which is why time travel in itself is impossible

One of the most fascinating things to me in the Star Trek fantasy was the hypothetical manipulation of a gravitational singularity to manage dimensional travel over great distances.

The idea that we could never leave this area of space annoys me. :-)

I'm no theoretical physicist but the amount of energy it would take to travel that distance and still keep a human alive within an average lifespan would have to be incredible

Well, if in theory we're manipulating gravitational singularity, energy is not something to worry about.

average lifespan
At that point, time does not exist. It mightn't exist anyway.

Could it be possible we have psychic connections with ourselves in this alternate reality. Were just not aware of how to do it?

I mean everything regarding it is hypothetical anyways right?

Time is just a relative measure in human sense

Astronauts travel through "time" when they return to earth.

Backwards in time is not possible unless we can somehow violate the 2nd law of thermodynamics. Forward in time is well understood via special relativity. Either case is not feasible at this point based on our technology.

I meant more along the lines of "Hey KS what time is it in relation to global positioning around the sun?"

GPC actually proves time is not constant. We have to correct their cesium clocks a few microseconds now and then.

The rocketdyne F1 motor was insanely powerful, they blew windows out in Huntsville when they tested all 5 motors at once

Spaceflight has fed and quenched more people than many multiples of that money spent directly on the problem, ever could.

Most people smartest than us are speculating we will have indefinite life spans

Either curing ageing or uploading the brain, both are highly likely

nope

what the alternate universe theory means, is that if space is truely infinite, then there is a 100% chance that somewhere out there, like way way the **** out there, there is another dazman with a black 6.2L sierra that just had his wife run into a cement column. Infact if the theory is true, there is a 100% chance there is an infinite number of dazmans with black sierras. There even an infinite number of dazmans that pound an infinite number kidcools in the *** every thurday at 4:32pm. Even though only 1/10^trillion universes even have a dazman, being infinite means infinite.
