Default Prelude or Integra Type R

Which one should I get? Either way it would be all motor, not going for any records, just a fun and sexy car.

I'd get the lude, I just think they're more comftorable. I'm sick of my GSR, it's my second one.

I dont like the looks of it anymore unless it has the JDM front end.

How Does and R outperform a Prelude?
Prelude is more comfty, better handling, Nicer interior, and IMO Sexier

Prelude does not have better handling!! Put a R and a Lude on a race course or a autocross course and the R will spank the lude's *** every single time!
With the same drivers the R will be ahead by about 3-4 lengths on a lude by the end of the 1/4 mile.

Well lets see here...

Type-R is faster 0-60 AND the 1/4 mile than the Lude.
Type-R Handles better than the Lude.
Interior is about the same quality.
Sexier? Hmm... i guess this depends on what you like.

Don't get me wrong, Prelude's are nice, but the ITR beats it in every category, except the weight. Prelude takes the weight department.

very true, Iíve seen many r's outperform preludes in autocrossing, but I also heard the prelude was name the best handling car under 30k not sure if they do their math right. The only to find out which of this two cars, has the better handling performance, is by having two skill'd drivers go at it.

Integra Type R has [email protected], Prelude [email protected]
Type R [email protected]
[email protected]
type R 14.7
Prelude 15.0

Prelude Weighs 2 tons!!!!
Prelude has a higher curb weight and with ATTS you cant beat the Handling

http://www.itr1220.com/library.htm

scroll down and read the "8000 RPM Showdown' it compares the itr, gsr, celica gts, and the prelude.
SCC magazine Can't even drive the cars right.

Look at these numbers:

Look at the 0-60 times and 1/4 mile times for the Integra GS-R!!!

1/4 mile in 15.7 seconds @ 89.2mph ?!!!?! Let me drive the car and I can probly get better times!

Plus SCC was paid by Toyota to give the Celica a little "boost" in image and Toyota gave SCC a more refined version of the Celica to test it out.

do you have a garage??? if you get an itr you're going to have to constantly worry about it getting stolen or, if you don't worry and take steps to prevent theft, have it stolen. A prelude isn't as fun to drive but it might be more fun to own if you don't have a garage, park in large public lots for extended(or short) periods of time, and don't have a beater you can take to the movies, mall, etc... or you could just bum rides from friends -rob

yeah the numbers on the GSR seemed odd to me also. there are many LS owners that can get that time easily.

are you retarded?

#1 The prelude is not 2 tons...it is heavier than the R though.
#2 Higher curb weight doesn't "help" the handling as you inferred.
#3 ATTS is nothing to brag about either.

dude there is NO prelude type r....and no...the prelude type-r emblem/sticker doesn't work!!!!
i would go with ITR, altho the lude has 5 more HP and more TQ....but it's way too much heavy compare to gs-r or ITR....and even gs-r allows u to rev up to 8000rpm... there are just too many ludes on the street now, but not that many ITR at my area..ITR is the car i would get itself a garage and take good care of while leaving the lude park on the street....but lude is also nice...at least they have sunroof which ITR don't...
