Potholes

I guess it makes sense. In order to save money, Illinois doesnt fix potholes, but they figured a cheaper alternative is putting up a sign that says "CAUTION: ROUGH ROAD AHEAD"
Lol thanks illinois. Another reason why i cant WAIT to get the **** outta here and move to texas or new mexico or somewhere FAR AWAY

I ******* hate potholes. Busted the god damn wheel off of my Hoverround when I was in Chicago this winter. I was moving along at a pretty aggressive clip when I managed to slam my front left wheel into the lip of the pothole. I damn near did an edo, but the traction control came on and was able to save me from a pretty serious rollover accident. Really scary stuff.

Only if you're brown and don't mind the strong chance that you'll be followed home from meets and wake up to find your car missing.

i actually sued and won when a pothole destroyed a 1k wheel. very bad pot hole indeed. (ill add there was a line of people given the ridiculous 3ft re-bar rod sticking straight up out of it.
sup fellas....

I would've done the same. Whats the point of putting up signs that say "pothole here", thats just making the road more of an obstacle course. Will probably cause more accidents

pffft. unless you live here, you have no idea.

My favorite is a safety cone in a pothole and it's so deep only a tiny bit of the cone is exposed so driving up to it you're like wtf is that?

Here's my take, although I'm sure many would disagree.
If you're going to put aftermarket wheels which require an extra low profile tire and you damage it on a road, I think it is slightly your own fault. I'd venture to say most factory cars don't have this problem, even if they have a more aggressive looking wheel/tire combo. Potholes are a fact of life.
I say if you have a factory setup, you deserve some compensation from the city/state. If you have something aftermarket, it is on you (pay out of pocket, or your insurance covers it given you paid the additional premium to cover those pieces).

Everybody says off road trucks are a waist in the city.
