Haven't owned any myself, but the half a dozen 90s era Accords friends/acquaintances have owned never had that issue. One guy still dailying his 99 coupe that's rusting to nothing with over 200K, ECU is still working just fine.

Weird. Just makes me curious on the issue since a new distributor didnít solve anything. Maybe the wiring harness?

Continuity testing between the cabin and bay, woo! Seems unlikely but worth a try. Hope it's an auto, those damn things are everywhere, ECU should be easy to score cheap.

Never seen an ECU go bad unless something got shorted/fried inside, due to wires being crossed, water exposure etc.

I had an ECU fry in a 92 Si hatchback before. Saw zero water damage, etc...just a dark burn mark on the board.

My latest project(s) are these Bose spare tire mounted subwoofer units. There are many variations, single woofer w internal amp, single woofer w/o amp, dual woofer w internal amp etc etc.

Ever since the oem 8" sub blew on my civic, I got a replacement from the junkyard and i wasnt happy with how it sounded. I came across these and I was blown away. My first try, i used the single woofer non-amplified version (the si has an oem subwoofer connection that is amplified already) and it sounded GREAT. Crazy how a ported 5.25" woofer can sound massively better than an 8" free air unit.

I came across a dual woofer internally-amped unit and wired it up this weekend, it sounds even more amazing.

Grabbed a few non amplified units, an amplified, as well as a CRV EX-L oem amp/sub that unfortunately wont work in the GF's EX CRV (amp wont without a lot of work anyways)

Single unit non-amplified. This version fits perfectly in the civic's spare tire

Wiring up the mini amplifier in the 2 woofer style, this past weekend. Clean and stealthy. It doesnt fit inside the spare unfortunately.

But still fits in the well and was still able to be anchored on the stock holder and trunk floor is still perfectly flat

me n bae chillin sup

LOL, I thought about doing that but with an actual sub. If the rim was a 15 I'd do a 10 inch

Ive had the truck 1 year on the 7th. Filled it up and took it for a drive to get new strings on my bow. The next day I washed it. It's been sitting since Sunday. I have about 4700 miles or so on it. Still love driving it. Taking the boat to the river Sunday morning.

Nope, no else has used a Holley Hi Ram plenum on a VQ car.

The OEM plenum design's actually really good for an NA car or a low boost application, but I think there's a good bit of power to be had on a 500+ whp setup though. I'm right around 650whp on 20 psi right now.

Is that plenum going to move the TB to the front of the intake?
