I dunno about same amount of effort. A ton of homes nowadays have firestops in between the studs. So unless you feel like patching up a ton of drywall, I wouldn't say it is that easy.

It's all good. I found a picture of Matt's home theater setup. No worries, he hid it all in the drywall.

There are, it got me at my last house, but go a Stud over and it was straight down, that's what magnets and stud finders are for, it's not that hard.
TV's are large enough now that you have the option of moving over a few studs and having no issue.

HAHAH! Never that bad, I only ran a power cord through our bedroom wall because I didn't want to spend the $$$ on a powerline kit or whatever they are called.

Just use a flexible drill bit to reach through the TV outlet hole and drill through the fire block.

Or gut all the sheetrock. That's what I did, much easier.

And how is the insurance company going to know who installed the outlet?

I finally bought one recently, pretty cool but still not sure how I feel about using it and not knowing what's behind the wall.

People who use Wire mold stuff are probably like all these people in my neighborhood I see paying someone to come do mulch......... Isn't that what your husband is for?!?!

One of the reasons I decided to keep renting was a pragmatic one. Cleaning one bathroom by myself sucks.

Cleaning two or more would really **** me off. Five?
