I already started my market research for a purchase in a few years.

Can't afford new though so have to see when the best time to buy used will be.

I've considered this too. Sticking to saving at least $500 a month for two years plus the equity in my M3 and buying something I don't need. But damn do I get impatient.

Life's about sacrifice haha
do you want a scoop of ice cream today or the banana split tomorrow. (In my case next week)

Luckily there are no cars out that I can afford that I truly love

In my old age, I am starting to want a 30 year car to go in my 30 year garage

Daily driver doesn't really matter to me as long as I know there's something in the garage waiting for me.

I was doing that for a while and got scared of buying an expensive car (saving 500/month plus current car). Just not ready for that kind of financial commit right now

Wanted one of these, really spent a long time reading about them and looked at a couple at the stealership

Speaking of saving 500/mo the gf and I decided that we're fully committing to DINK lyf so any money that would be spent on all the crap towards a kid can now be spent on fun things.

M3/ISF/G8GT garage here I come

Only been employed for 3 months lol. Should have a new car by June at least though and still saving up for a bauling house

Won't really see the benefits of DINK lyf until her student loans are paid off and I move up to a GS9 by December

National extended warranty. Bout $3600 and covers everything and more than a factory warranty for 100k miles 10 years. No scare.

Confirmed by my buddy who's a SA for BMW Seattle. Legit warranty. Never declines repairs.

Thats the name brand? It was going to be my next question since a lot of the stuff we like is just out of that warranty period.

Let me look at my paperwork after work but yes. National, premier or premium or some **** warranty package. Wanted to make sure I was covered outside the factory warranty in case we keep this thing for the long haul.

Im almost positive the shortest Honda lease is 24 months. If you take a 2 year lease out, and trade the car in after a year, the negative equity will transfer over to the new model Si/CTR.

Your trade in value will also be lower than normal because the body style came out.

Also, because new CTR, the lease rates will be terrible, and they wont give you a discount.

Would it matter for equity if it would have almost no miles put on it? Car will not be a DD just weekends
